Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland Council is proud to own and operate two residential summer camps, Camp Wakatomika and Camp Molly Lauman.  Each camp offers acres of land for endless hours of summer fun!  Each year, our resident camps offer 7 weeks of programming for girls age 5-17.  Girls participate in 2 ½ to 5 ½ day programs that include activities such as hiking, swimming, horseback riding, archery, out of camp trips, canoeing, campfires, outdoor cooking, games, songs, and more!  All programs provide progressive learning opportunities, are planned with girl input, and are carried out with the intention of helping each girl to develop her full, individual potential.

Both Camp Molly Lauman and Camp Wakatomika are proud to be accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA).

Camp Molly Lauman is located approximately 1 ½ hours south of Columbus and in the rural hills of southern Ohio.  It is located on 173 wooded acres and includes a modern, air-conditioned dining hall, 6 platform tent and/or cabin units, a 25-meter pool with diving board, and rustic nature and arts cabins.  There is a horse barn on-site with indoor and outdoor riding rings and LakeView Ranch, which hosts our advanced horseback riding programs, next door. Camp Molly Lauman offers camp sessions in June and July, 2010.

Camp Wakatomika is located approximately 1 hour east/northeast of Columbus in Licking County, near Utica, OH.  It is located on 260 wooded acres and includes a dining hall, a swimming pool, 4 platform tent units, and Dogwood Lodge.  Girls have access to off-site horseback riding by 15-passenger van transportation.  Camp Wakatomika offers sessions mid-June through early August, 2010.
